MindVerse: nurturing souls through words

Sometimes I ponder why do I yearn for the sky Sometimes I wonder why do I want to fly high Alas! Have you ever read your old diary and reminisced those moments and that time when you used to write your heart out. When you had thousands of words and thoughts  floating in your mind and poured them all out in that diary. When you yearned to fly high but were still cautious about that unknown something which was stopping you... Something similar happened to me when I found my old diary with my own old poems written in it a few years back.. I felt a sense of pride that I was such an uninhibited writer at one point, I also wondered why did I stop writing all these years.. was it because the words dried out or responsibilities and life took over.. thats what I have explored in this poem...
